Hello all you wonderful blog hoppers you! We are all ready for the Remnants drawing for OWOH on February 12. The cutoff to enter is February 11 at 11:11 PM Pacific Standard Time.
Each entry we receive before that time (1 to 4 entries per person) is assigned a number and then a random number generator will determine the Grand Prize winner of the mechanical bird cottage, then winners for each of the three hearts then each of the three name tags for a total of 7 happy prizes for 7 lucky winners.

This is SO much fun so we just had to be a part of it! This is a huge giveaway from hundreds of individual artists!! You can go to the One World One Heart page by clicking the globe above where you will see a long list of artists– each and every one giving away at least one item for this event. WOW!!! And really everyone wins because you are likely to discover new blogs and see some delicious eye candy along the way.
We signed up a little late and decided to really go all out and there will be SEVEN LUCKY WINNERS! We are giving away what we hope are things you would really love to have and perhaps this will also help us get “discovered” by many more people! This is open to anyone (active bloggers or not).
ONE First prize: A Mechanical Bird Cottage– this charming little cottage has three resident birds that hop up and down on the roof when you turn the handle! I’ll be teaching this workshop at Art & Soul in Portland in the fall. Your house will be similar to the one shown but you can play decorator and pick the style and color(s) and what it says on the roof. You might want cheerful colors for a more quaint look like the one pictured OR perhaps you’d like a more Victorian Gothic look. We do a lot of both styles (so so finicky!!!). Won’t it be great fun to get together and design the perfect little cottage just for you and your three new friends?!?!? : )

Wow. Your creations and your offerings leave me speechless. You know how to make a grrrl work to enter, don’t you? I don’t mean by looking at your art, which is beyond a pleasure, but having to choose favorites?!
If I were shopping in your Etsy shop, I don’t think I’d be able to pick just one thing. Shaker, Time Capsule, and Room 422 all particularly appeal to me. I’d just have to treat myself and get one of each.
The same goes for your other art, but something about Migration to Nowhere really speaks to me. It’s haunting and compelling, to say the least.
As for posting a link, so sorry, but I’m probably one of the more techno-inept characters in this project. I can cut a paste a code, but other than that I’m pretty hapless. No matter though. I’m sure plenty of lucky souls will find their way here.

I hope I didn’t make this give~away too cumbersome. Some people seem to like it but maybe others not so much! I just thought it would be fun to give more entries to go look at stuff we made and pick out favorite things.
To answer your question, Ms. Tarts is somewhere around here. I’m quite sure we never put her up for sale. She actually started out as an altered (and fully functional) Pez dispenser until the unfortunate day when I added more embellishments and accidentally glued her head down so it no longer opened. Anyway, when I see her again, I’ll let her know you send your regards. Perhaps we can work out an exchange for that which we each covet but that the other has possession of! I’ll have my people call your people on that. : )

I love your automated artworks! My boyfriend is currently learning how to use cams etc to automate his own sculptures. I have no idea how it’s done but I love the finished products! I am so intrigued by your art! I just love, love, love the mechanical bird houses.
Etsy…hands down winner for me is 3 Bird House. Love the detail on the roof, and the interactive aspect is really cool. Runner up is Tales from the Sea. We just moved close to the ocean and I love everything about the sea.
Your artwork – I think I’ll have to say Mermaid Theatre. Although I’m quite bummed out that I can’t access the youtube video (we only have access to dial up internet here)
